Wenger has already said that this means money from the new TV deal will have to go on players to be able to compete and that ticket prices won't drop.

The cash comes from the Govt.

Who cares if the best players in the world do go there?

I won't watch it like I rarely watch any other league

What about FFP, eh? They'll be barred from the Champions League!

I agree. You can tell they're dodgy because of the slitty eyes, yellow skin and foriegn lingo...

Re: Chinese/Asian clubs throwing massive money around. Good or bad?
We used to sign Steve Jones and Mitchell Thomas , I'm pretty certain the PL has improved over time but started with clubs throwing money at players to join them.

Even a few years forward and Man City with Robhino for example

If it gets rid of some of the more mercenary elements from the premier league, that is fine by me.

I predict that nobody will ever really care. It will get about 2 minutes an hour on SSN at 645am.

I'm just thinking of the ridiculous money flying around, and it just seems a bit fishy- especially (if I recall correctly) there was a lot of talk about it when Drogba was over there, with question marks over where the money was coming from.

Re: Chinese/Asian clubs throwing massive money around. Good or bad?
Its not that they are signing world class players

they are just spending a ridiculous amount of money

Its the fees that are millions over the market price which is capturing the attention not the quality of player

I’m still amazed why the premier league has not imploded yet, like the Italian league did a few years back.

I don't think it will, but what you will see is more money coming sky, foreign investors etc , but the money will not getting passed down. So more clubs ending in the shit.

We nearly were fucked by a biscuit man, his intentions to the club seemed ok, but only West Ham could let a country that had gone bust fuck us up.

I think the key word is how much of a custodian to he club these people are.
I hate the idea of people taking over a club without knowing anything about the heritage, fans ect, Too many times we've seen that fuck up a club. Look at Villa

It might be a short term gain splash loads of dosh and then sign Messi, but it's one I'm uncomfortable with.

No different to whats happened in Italy years ago, then England etc etc

It's always been that one country dominates financially.

It's just China's turn

Don't be absurd! They are red commies and have slanty eyes, therefore are much more corrupt.

Would you trust anyone who made ad capaigns like "Errastaprast....Top breeders reccommend them?"

Re: Chinese/Asian clubs throwing massive money around. Good or bad?
Bit like the Russian league few years back, then the UAE

they quickly fizzle out. You can earn as much as you like at the end of the day football wise it will always be shit......which is why it wont attract any of the top top players

What evidence do you have for China and Chinese football being more corrupt than anyone else?

Re: Chinese/Asian clubs throwing massive money around. Good or bad?
Given the Asian mind-set, I see this more as an investment diversity opportunity, with a chance to enhance the already considerable gambling ethos in the region.

They won't lose money on such deals as even the older players will have some resale value after a couple of years, either in Septicstan or the lower leagues of Europe.

Players get the chance to just play without all the commercial pressures foisted on them in the west.

How am I supposedly being racist? By suggesting there's corrupt money in Chinese football?

I like how the OP exhibits a superb degree of unconscious racism whilst the poster is literally still Kleenexing himself off for his scolding of Mentor on the locked thread.
